Career highlights include getting a call from Hume Cronyn to write the music and lyrics for Foxfire, starring Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy and also featuring Keith Carradine. I collaborated with the Cronyn’s for over five years and Jessica made me the first cucumber sandwich I ever ate! I was also commissioned to co-create the long running (ten years) extravaganza, Enter The Night at the Stardust Hotel in Las Vegas, featuring original songs and score for forty beautiful dancers, ice skaters, circus performers, comics and specialty acts.
Most recently, I have collaborated with Sheila Walsh, Joe Hardy (Child’s Play, You’re a Good Man Charley Brown, Paper Chase) and Jeff Calhoun (Grease, Brooklyn, Big River) to write the music and lyrics for Himself & Nora, a new musical about the greatest unread writer of the 20th Century and the chambermaid he loved… James and Nora Joyce, recently performed at the Old Globe Theatre, slated to open in West End, London, spring 2008.
