greg kapustka

As a world-class sound engineer and studio manager who supervises productions and recordings of everything from classical to hip hop, Greg specializes in creating mixes that integrate sound design and musical composition with all the latest technologies. A classically trained violinist and keyboardist who has studied in both Europe and the U.S., he brings a depth and clarity to all brielle productions because he simply hears what the rest of us don’t. His on-site supervision of sound allows him to mix tracks for live presentations that give brielle a unique aural advantage.

Some of Greg’s most memorable experiences include working with Dr. John on a movie track, having to keep his “special water” glass filled from his “special bottle”; maintaining composure while working under deadlines when the rappers show up 8 hours late for a session, at 2am; rerecording the classic Stand By Me with the legendary Bill Medley…and his entire family; lending his production skills to Warner Bros. Latina jazz artist, Gabriela Anders; having to wrangle thirty executives and employees of Church’s Chicken to be part of our groovin’ gospel choir. Never one to talk about who needs digital tuning, he will only admit to “tweaking” the voices of two psychic mediums to help them sound more like singers on this astral plane.

Greg and Jon have been collaborating for over fifteen years. Greg’s integrity as a producer and sound engineer enable brielle music to deliver state of the art mixes for every listening environment.
